Expertly controlled drying for stronger, more stable timber
At Botica Timber, we take timber kiln drying seriously. With two 50m³ capacity kilns, our team carefully dries both native and imported timber between 25mm and 50mm thick. Our dehumidification system may take longer than some faster methods, but it's one of the safest ways to achieve smooth, even results with minimal degrade.
Our kiln wood drying services combine advanced technology with decades of experience. Every load is treated with care to ensure that the timber's strength, grain, and colour are preserved through the drying process. This attention to detail helps prevent common issues like splitting, cupping, or uneven moisture content.
For customers who prefer a natural approach, we also offer an air-drying service — stacking and filleting timber in our yard for a balanced finish.
